The year is 2414. Humanity has expanded its reach beyond the Orion Belt. The old mining colonies of the Lunar Confederation were left behind, abandoned when quantum jump drives rendered slow inter-system travel obsolete. But not all missions could return… The Aurora-IV, an exploration freighter dedicated to collecting HY energy crystals, was declared lost more than a decade ago on the outer lanes. Its last transmission indicated severe damage from an asteroid impact and a loss of power in the main reactor. Then… silence.
